A few useful answers
Do I need an account?
No. Your tickets, notes, and focus records are stored locally. This version does not offer cloud sync. Deleting the app or replacing your device can remove local records, so save any postcards or information you want to keep before doing so.
How do I restore my purchase?
Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase. Open the Window Seat Pass screen and choose Restore Purchases. An internet connection is required. The pass is a one-time purchase, not a subscription; restoring it does not restore locally stored journey records.
How do I request a refund?
Apple handles App Store payments and refund decisions. Visit Apple's Report a Problem page and follow the instructions for your purchase.
Why does Focus Protection need permission?
It uses Apple's Screen Time features to shield selected apps and websites during your journey. You choose what to block and can turn protection off. If authorization fails, check Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings. You can still use the journey timer without granting this permission.
How are nearby stations suggested?
Initial suggestions use your system region and time zone. Tap the nearby control to use an approximate system location; iOS asks for permission if needed. No IP lookup is made. You can always choose your departure station yourself. See our privacy policy for details.
When will the app be available?
Window Seat is preparing for its first App Store release. This website will link to the app once it is available.
